I’m Jo and over the years I have come to realise how narrow our career spheres of influence are, especially when we are young: parents, teachers, TV, media and not a lot else. And how so often we end up doing what our family and friends expect of us, or what society says we should do, or we fall into something because we need a job – any job – to start earning money. 

My mission is to help you broaden your career horizons by sharing the insightful, inspiring and empowering conversations I am having with experts in their fields.

Our hope is that by sharing conversations like these with you, we can demystify careers that may be confusing, give you access to careers that may seem out of reach and expose you to careers that may be invisible. And in doing so, help you discover discover what you could do with your working life and empower you to follow your dreams.
